Danny: How have we being doing so far this week?
Client: I haven’t been doing so well this week. I had lots of alcohol. I went to a party with someone and he offered to buy me drinks and I said yes! But I was just feeling nice, feeling really really nice. It was worth it and I didn’t pay for the drinks so it was even better!
Danny: What about the rest of the week so far. Did you regroup?
Client: By Tuesday. I’m going to the gym tonight.
Danny: So you have some getting back on track to do. Big time.
Client: I wouldn’t say big time.
Danny: No, it is big time. You pretty much blasted through the weekend.
Alcohol does serious damage to your body in terms of weight loss. The effects last anywhere between 24 hours to four days, meaning it effects the way your body burns and stores burns fat.
Client: Ooohhh no…
Danny: Exercising is a great thing; that you are trying to get it in there. That’s what’s going to move a lot of the hormones to start getting you back…
Client: ..to where I need to be.
But I had a good time.
Danny: It sounded awesome but we have a mission!
Client: To have fun?
Danny: Along the way you have fun but the mission is to get to your goal weight!
Client: But I don’t want to do anything drastic.
Danny: I’m not asking you to do anything crazy drastic. Gastic bypass would be drastic.
Client: Yeah that would be drastic.
Danny: So what do you have to do to make your goal happen? That is what we want to focus on. I just want to make sure you get back on your routine.
